WHAT WE DO

Enabling clients to visualise the impact of heat on their workforce is part of what we do. This service encompasses assessment of worker physiological responses, workplace environmental conditions, analysis of thermal imagery and custom heat stress audits. Growing in popularity, our heat stress survey reveals the frequency and severity of heat stress symptoms, their impacts in the work and post-work settings and current worker management strategies – see this paper in collaboration with Energy QLD as an example.

We deliver industry-leading heat stress education sessions for workers, managers and executives. Our education sessions are best described as ‘real info for real people’, containing field-tested and evidence-based information in a format suited to the workforce, whether that’s at an on-site pre-start or during sessions supported by AV facilities. We tailor heat stress mitigation and management strategies to meet client needs across a broad range of industries, including those in remote and/or resource-limited settings.

Benchmarking heat stress management policy, procedures and practice against the evidence is a common client request, forming part of our Heat Stress Audit. We also assist organisations and regulators to investigate heat-related incidents and injuries.
